‘Only-the-Pasta-needs-Cooking’ Lumpfish Caviar Spaghettini

You only need to cook the pasta. Seriously? Yes, seriously. Salty, ocean-y goodness in 15 minutes.

Lumpfish Caviar Spaghettini

1. Boil 1 portion of spaghettini or Angel Hair Pasta in plenty of water until it is al dente.
2. Toss cooked pasta in olive and dish onto serving plate.
3. Snip about 2 or 3 chives over pasta.
4. Sprinkle over a pinch or 2 of sea salt.
5. Place a dollop (a teaspoon and a lil more) of Lumpfish Caviar on top of the pasta.
6. Just like toss it up and Dig in!

The French Laundry

Napa, California March 2009

This meal would not have happened if R had not stayed awake until 2am for two work nights two months to the day that we’d be in Napa Valley. And we were thrilled on the 2nd night when he managed to secure a table at French Laundry! Thank you R (for calling and sponsoring)! 🙂

Armed with a rather sketchy map, we navigated through the tiny vineyard towns of napa and ventured into Yountville – home to 4 Thomas Keller establishments, Ad Hoc, Bouchon Bakery, Bouchon and The French Laundry. Our first night in Napa we settled in on Ad Hoc and had breakfast at Bouchon Bakery the next morning. Our 2nd night’s dinner was to be spent at The French Laundry – the wait was over!!

Wow

The aim? For every customer to go “Wow” (and nothing less) from the moment they enter to the time they leave  – that’s the W Hotel’s promise.

We stayed at the W Hotel on a recent trip to Hong Kong and 4 months later I’m still in Wow. I once told a friend that I’d like to make a list of Whatever made me go Wow, Whenever I could find time. So here goes!
